What We Do

We focus on educating, engaging and providing resources for community members, policy makers and elected decision-makers to aid in the creation and maintenance of healthy communities.

We help people make the connection between sound land use planning, transportation decisions and protection of the natural environment. Everything that we do on the land touches something else. We understand that climate change, transportation, and land use are intrinsically linked.  We address policies in communities that are too frequently underestimated in their importance to protecting our environment (see How We Are Different).

We collaborate with partners at the local, state and regional level. We are actively engaged in working groups, coalitions and within the community to raise awareness and make positive change in Wisconsin. Through sound land use and transportation planning that brings everyone to the table, carbon emissions can be decreased, natural resources can be protected and public health can be prioritized.
