Transportation and Racial Justice – Interview with Dr. Kirk Harris
The Coalition for More Responsible Transportation, of which 1000 Friends is a member, held an interview with Dr. Kirk Harris about the brief history of racism in the transportation sector and the current impacts of our transportation system on racial justice in Wisconsin.
Dr. Harris is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning. His focus is on racial and economic equity, social justice, constitutional issues, and planning law.
